Prologue












                            In the next 30 years, 75% of the fastest growing professions will
                          require STEAM-related skills. 50% of professions today will disappear
                         and 50% of professions in the next 30 years do not even currently exist.
                         Young students of today will experience dozens of career changes and

                         dozens of jobs in each career.

                         To successfully navigate through this fast-changing environment,
                         students need to master critical STEAM-related skill sets, often referred

                         to as the 5Cs, or as Harvard professor Tony Wagner puts it, the seven
                                                        st
                         survival skills of the 21  century.  Whereby, students will not only
                         become  capable  and  competitive  job  seekers,  but  become  the  most

                         innovative job creators.

                         The California Association for STEAM Education (CASE) is a non-profit
                         organization founded by educators, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs

                         to design and deliver the most inspiring and innovative STEAM-based
                         educational programs where students will acquire and master critical
                         transferable skills for their future success.


                         We are very proud to be partnered with Actura to deliver our most
